Good morning, I'm using visform on two sites, the first one is fine, while on the second the submit button (submit botton) gives me trouble, from the forums I read that it's a jawascript problem, but I could not fix it.
So I ask who is more experienced by me a help, where I can change the "enable" function
I thank you in advance

Hi,

there is a second jQuery included in your website in a not Joomla! conform way.
It is the
gssgr/plugins/content/social2s/js/jquery/jquery-2.2.0.min.js

I think from the path to this file you can figure which extension on your website causes the problem.

Regards,
Aicha

Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.

Hi,

I did not mean, that you should follow a link or open a file.
I send you the "link" because in the name of it you can see that is is the content plugion socials2s that causes the trouble.
You can either not use this plugin (unpublish or uninstall it) or maybe the plugin has an option, where you can select not to load jquery by the plugin. I do not know whether such an option is available and if the plugin can be used, just using the jQuery that is loaded by Joomla!

Aicha

hello, i turned off pugin social2s without having great results.
I did try (using google crome) to modify part of the code by writing this:
<input class = "btn" id = "field8" air-label = "send" value = "send" name = "modvisform129iovio" type = "submit" enable = "enable">
instead of this:
<input class = "btn" id = "field8" air-label = "sending" value = "sending" disabled = "disabled" name = "modvisform129iovio" type = "submit">. With this replacement the button works.
So i wonder if you can modify this code directly from visform on ftp side, and if you tell me where i can find via link or ftp position (of visform).
thank you

Hi,

As long as you do not resolve the Javascript problem on your website, Visforms cannot work properly, even if you manipulate the code in a way, that the submit button is enabled.
For example:
Date fields will not work
Conditional fields will not work
Validation of user inputs will not work...

This is why I set the button state to disabled as default in the first place, so that users can see clearly, that there is a problem on their website. As soon as you have solved the Javascript problems with your website (which really are severe problems), the buttons will be enabled automatically by Visforms.

As far as I can see now, there are more "extensions" which with not Joomla! compatible jquery:
Its the following both lines. I think this comes from your template.
/gssgr/templates/dd_carrepair_18/js/jquery-1.7.1.min.js
/gssgr/templates/dd_carrepair_18/jquery.js
I cannot tell you, how you can prevent your template from including those both javascript files, but they are not Joomla! conform and you should really try to remove them.

Regards,
Aicha
