Hide records that are expired?

Hide records that are expired? was created by ralphvie
I used viforms to allow cottage owners to post rentals on our website;
williamslandingcottages.com/cottages-for-rent

The issue I am running into is that when the rental week has passed, the owners are not removing their posts.

My question...is there a way to automatically 'expire' rental posts? For example, can I create a date calculation field that compares the rental date to the current date and if passed, hide that rental record?

Any ideas?

Ralph

Hi Ralph,
sorry, there is no publish down option in visForms.
So actually I have no idea how you could achieve that.
There is the system plugin visforms auto delete data, but I don't think this is what you need, because you can only set a fix time span after which record sets are delete and I think that is not what you need.

Aicha

:idea: I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:

Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.
