Thank you very much for thinking along. I picked out the last (easiest) option and maybe I'll try some of your idea's later. I didn't knew that it was possible to place text above the form and so I can do the same as using the load position.

kind regards,

Hi,

You're welcome.
I think this is a wise approach.
Thank you very much for your donation!

 I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:

Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.

Invalid controller: name='visforms', format='' error has started after 3.7.10 update I believe. We experience the same problem.
This update effectively ended the ability to place form into an article.

I removed the forms from articles and created direct menu items linked to forms. This is the solution I managed.
I think either Joomla update or visform update messed up things and this problem is serious. Our working forms became useless.

Hi,

thanks a lot for this post because it confirms for me that this probably is a Visforms bug.

I did not change any Visforms files which are responsible for handling the form submission between Visforms 3.7.7 and Visform 3.7.8 or Visfroms 3.7.9 or 3.7.10 but only files managing the administration of Visforms.

Actually I think, this bug is a result of changes made in the Joomla! core. Sadly I'm absolutely not able to reproduce the problem. Loading a Visforms Module with loadposition and submitting the form works fine on my test installation (Joomla! 3.6.2, Visforms 3.7.10).

Would anybody be able to provide me with a backup of their website where the bug actually occurs?

Regards,
Aicha
