Hi, sorry for not writing in German. I just know a few words, reading a little better and I am studying to improve my knowledge.
I was not able to find in the blog answers about this basic question: how to increase width of fields. I'm not referring to the number of carachters (they flow through in case) but the real dimension of fields how they appear on the page and in the choosen position. As now, they do not tend to fill the position width and stay rather narrow, no more than 20 chs.
Danke Schon!

Hi Guiseppe,

English is quite fine. Actually I would prefer, if any post would be in English.

How the form is displayed, depends on the the form layout which you have selected in the form configuration tab "advanced" (see: www.vi-solutions.de/en/documentations/vi...layout-configuration ) and on the CSS availabe, which mostly comes form your template .

So maybe the solution to your problem is just to select a form layout that matches better with your template (a bootstrap layout instead of the Visforms Default layout). If this does not solve the problem, there is problably some custom css necessary. (See: www.vi-solutions.de/en/documentations/vi...form-layout-with-css ) As it is custom, I can only help, if I can take a look at the form.

Regards,
Aicha

 I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:
docs.joomla-5.visforms.vi-solutions.de/en/docs/
Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.
Please only ask 1 question per topic :-).

However, for Webform to affect the width of textfields, it needs the CSS to not affect the width. You can look at the HTML source of your pages and see that Webform is properly setting "size" attributes on the textfields it generates, it's just that your theme is preventing it from being displayed at what Webform has specified.
