Hi All,

I was wondering if there was a way to get VisForms to send an acknowledgement email to me to say there is a new form in the back-end to view but not have the contents from the form on the email.

Hope that makes sense.

Hi,

yes, of course.

Just enter the message, which you want to have send into the "Result Mail Text" (Form configuration tab "Mail Options") and set the option "Include data" just under the "Result Mail Text" to "no".

I further reccomend, that you read the documentation article: vi-solutions.de/en/documentations/visfor...e-mail-configuration

Hi,

Many thanks for your quick reply. I perhaps should have said I am using version 3.1.2 on Joomla 3.3.0 and I'm unable to see the "Result Mail Text" field. I'm guessing it's not a feature of the older versions or would I have to enable it somewhere?

sorry, but this feature was added later. It is not available in Visforms 3.1.2
