OK and thanks.

I will have to methodically work through other extensions and configuration first and let you know if I need more assistance.

While I am on this subject of front end display, have I missed an option to display the Edit button when displaying records in a front end article as well as in a menu option? If I had that (and can get editing working), my application would be exactly what I am aiming for. It's 90% there now and a great improvement on previous versionsI have set up with other products.

Thanks

Nick

Hi Nick,
the frontend edit views (edit button) are only accessable through menu items of type visforms >> formdata with edit view and visforms >> my submissions.
Frontend edit views (edit button) are not accessable when you use the content plugin visforms data view (when you are inside an article).

Whether or not the edit button is displayed with the visforms menu items, depends on the permissions settings and the menu settings.

Regards,
Aicha

I thought you might like to know that I have found what seems to have been the issue.

Edit worked when I disabled the Front End cleaning option of the Regular Labs Cache Cleaner plugin.
