Hi! I've two problems.
I've exported forms from J3 and imported in J4. I see all the forms but I get this error:
Upload directory (advanced options) doesn't exist
Problems importing form definition

Another thing. I don't the the image button and I've an error about size of files (the file is too large. Max size is 0 kb).
Thanks.

Hello markus99,

It has many advantages for communication and the writing effort in this forum if you ask exactly 1 question per topic.
In particular, the unnecessarily complex reference to the one question out of several to which the answer is given is omitted.

So here's a friendly request:
Can you please just ask the other questions (submit button, error about size of files) in their own topic (copy&paste)?

Regarding 'Problems importing form definition':

Could you please describe the error in more detail, especially when and where it is presented?
A detailed PHP error report would be very helpful for us (the whole call stack with all the information).
To get a verbose PHP error report, enable maximum debugging in the Joomla administration before reproducing the error:

Dashboard --> Global Configuration, tab 'System', parameter 'Debug System' = 'Yes'
Dashboard --> Global Configuration, tab 'Server', parameter 'Error Reporting' = 'Maximum'

Just for your information:
Visforms is used by tens of thousands of users.
All known bugs will be fixed immediately and no problems are currently known.
So if you use Visforms, you can assume that any problems that arise are not causally related to Visforms.

Best regards, Ingmar

Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.

markus99's question about the error was answered in another post.
"The file is to large..." error:
vi-solutions.de/en/forum-index/17-joomla...-to-large-error#8872

Citation:

Hi Marcus 99,

in your forms configuartion there is an option, where you select the directory, where the uploaded files should be stored.
This option was set on the Joomla 3 website.
The value was imported to the Joomla 4 website.
Actually, it looks to me, as if this directory does not exist on your Joomla 4 website.
Therefor you got the error message "Upload directory (advanced options) doesn't exist", after the import.

So please go the the form configuration.
Select the tab "Advanced".
Almost at the bottom, there is a section "File-uploads".
Please make sure, that you enter the name of an existing directory in the option "Uploaded Files Directory".
Then save the form configuration.
After that, uploading files with the form in the frontend should work.
I'm sorry, that the error message "Max file size is 0 kb" is somewhat misleading.

Kind Regards,
Aicha
