Date field validation was created by ferino
Hi,
maybe I want too much, but what about validating the date field?
At least such an option (optional), that the date may not be older than today.

Thanks.

Hi,

thanks for the suggestion.
There have been feature requests in this direction like being able to set a first and last day. To exclude dates by weekday and so listed on the feature wish list, but implementing them and making it work smoothly with all the other features Visforms already provides is really a big step.

Just to give you an example of what I mean. Imagine, that somebody uses the Visforsm Subscription feature "Edit Data in Frontend", that allows users to edit there own data. In combination with the validation rule for which you are asking, you could end up easily with a situation, where a date that was entered in the past and was valid then, is no longer valid, if the user edits the data some days later.

I hope, that I will be able to implement a "date" field that can be set up with more option at some point in the future, but I have no idea when I will find the time to do it.

Regards,
Aicha

Das meiste gilt rückwirkend auch für Joomla 3.
