Plugin just broke - everyone locked out

As of the past hour, this plugin stopped working. It now sees everyone as spam. I can't find the plug entry in my database to disable it so my site remains down. It appears I don't have any jos_ entries in my main database, and in the old database there is nothing about spambotcheck in it. I am very confused.

Why did everyone suddenly get locked out?! this worked fine for the past 2 months. I'm very worried now and don't want to continue using this plugin if this will happen again (assuming I can fix it).

It's let me back in, without any changes. I have disabled the plugin. I cannot trust it anymore. I need to know what happened to cause it to mark everyone as spam, and then an hour later to be ok again. This shouldn't be posible.

I've never heard of such a problem before.
It wourd be nice to have some further information.
Which Joomla Version do you use?
Where did you get the plugin from (from which website did you download it)?
What's the plugin Version according to your extension menu?
Which other extensions do you use?
Then I can try to look, if I can prevent the plugin from running into that problem again.

The most probable reason for the problem is, that one of the databases the plugin checks against had a problem for a short time. So I investigated that issue.

The website of undisposable didn't already response for over a year, but I left it on the plugin, because I hoped they would come again. I checked this website today once again and it looks to me as if somebody has bought the domain and build up an new website which is totally different and has certainly nothing to do with spambotdatabases.

I have removed the part, that uses this database in version 1.0.3 (Joomla 1.5), 1.1.3 (Joomla 1.6, 1.7, 2.5)

To my opion stopforumspam.com is the most important spambot datasbase. Out of almost 1000 spambot attacts on ny website there are but 12 which are not detected by stopforumspam.com.

I have enabled the plugin and haven't had any more problems. I disabled the use of that bad site. I'm thankful for the work the developers did to resolve this issue. I too have been very happy since installing this plugin initially. I haven't seen any spambots come through. Thank you very much!
