download uploads

how do i download uploaded content.
when i check the form that on frontend, it appears with the link but i cannot download it.
how can the upload field link to download data.

Hi osita,

In principle there are three ways.

1. Set parameter "Include fileupload file" in form (Tab Email, Section Email result) to yes. The file will be attached to the email you recieve and you can get it very easily.

2. Download uploaded files via ftp from server directory (that was the way I thought people would use)

3. If you want to download the file with your browser you have to compose the link manually following the instructions in this post
vi-solutions.de/en/forum/19-joomla-exten...ed-file-pdf-jpeg-etc (you compose it from the url to the uploadfolder and the filename).

As I said in this post, this feature will be improved in the next version of visForms.
