Hi,

at the moment, the visforms date fields, show a calendar icon next to the input field.
If you click on this icon, a calendar appears.

Is it possible to have this same functionality on the date input field?
So if an user selects the input field, the calendar should show.
If focus is lost, the calendar should be hidden again.

I've looked at some .js files, but I can't figure out how to create this.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

basically Visforms uses the Joomla! implementation of the calendar control (also I already have improved this control with some custom code, at least in Visforms 3.8.x) and the Joomla! implementation of the calendar control does not provide the requested feature. Joomla uses a javascript calendar plugin which only provides limited setup options.

See media/system/js/calendar-setup-uncompressed.js to check out the options which can be set.

Regards,
Aicha

 I recommend you the new and up-to-date documentation for Joomla 4:
docs.joomla-5.visforms.vi-solutions.de/en/docs/
Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.
Please only ask 1 question per topic :-).

 Ich empfehle Dir die neue und aktuelle Dokumentation für Joomla 4:

Das meiste gilt rückwirkend auch für Joomla 3.
Bitte immer nur 1 Frage pro Thema stellen :-).
