Mask input for Visform fields was created by ttome
Hi!

I have a little problem with connecting JQuery input mask to my Visform input fields by id/class.
I found 3 examples: this , this and this .

How can i create input mask by id or class in Visform?

Thanks!

Hi,

I don't know exactly what this plugin is good for but I have a notion that this is not working together with Visforms.
Visforms has a lot of business logic for the form display and validation, which is done by javascript, it tiggers it's own events and will fail, if you mess up this business logic.

I'm sorry, but you have to figure for yourself how to include this plugin and if you have a very clear question about a specific detail of Visforms which you need to understand, I will gladly try to answer it.

Regards,
Aicha

Hi,

I simply want to enable «phone mask».
For example, for the text input field whit class "phone" i want add the mask (000)000-00-00, but i can only write text like - 0000000000 or 000-000-00-00 or 000 000 0000 or 9-000-000-0000, as i whant (no rules). So if Visform has business logic for this, where can i learn it?

This plugin includes by the adding script link to html and works with fields, that are marked special id/class.

Thank You

Hi,

you can add custom HTML classes to the fields (tab advanced in the field configuration).
You can use template overrides to add the javascript you need or if you only have to include additional script files maybe you can do this is yin our tamplate at all. (There it would be more update save I assume).

Aicha
