500 error

Hi there. Am using visforms 3.5
Running joomla 3, PHP Version 5.3.29

Am trying to link an image to a contact form.
Link entered is:
"index.php?option=com_visforms&task=edit&id=7"

but when page is published and I click on image, url is
"index.php/component/visforms/edit?id=7" and it returns a 500 error.

Strange ços I've done the above links on other pages and had no problems previously. Problem just appeared today.

Any idea what might be causing the problem? Thanks.

Hi,

you cannot edit a form in the frontend.
Therefore the "tastk=edit" is not allowed.
You cannot use this url parameter with Visforms.
And actually I'm glad, that you get a 500 error with this link.

A link to a form would be
index.php?option=com_visforms&view=visforms&id=7
Where id is the form's id.

Most of this also applies retrospectively to Joomla 3.
